The 2010 Northwest Nordic Tug Owners' Rendezvous is just around the corner. Approximately 60 boats are signed up and we are sure to see more in the next few weeks. Classes, meals and all festivities will be held in the big tent conveniently located at the top of the dock in Cap Sante Marina.

Owners will have an opportunity to meet the new CEO of Nordic Tugs, Inc., S. Andrew Lund, and factory technicians will be on hand for questions and answers. The new Nordic Tug 39, with significant design modifications to the windows, pilothouse, salon, head and guest cabin, will be available for viewing on June 10th and the morning of June 11th.

The Anacortes Red Cross will be giving a CPR class. There will be fire demos and a place for owners to get their extinguishers recharged. The Coast Guard will be talking about proper use of VHF radios.

We are planning on the ever popular dinghy races and, this year, adding a game of extreme croquet. The town is eager to see owners back for this year’s “Poker Run.” Owners will share their ingenuity with each other in the “Great Ideas Contest” and there will be a new class of “Yoga for Boat People!”
